Area students among MSUM graduates
Minnesota State University Moorhead will award degrees to 450 students during its fall commencement program Dec. 15 in MSUM's Nemzek Fieldhouse.
These students are expected to graduate with the following degrees and honors:
Grant Hagen, Hanley Falls, bachelor of science, business administration; Stephanie Hansen, Canby, bachelor of science, social studies; Tara Welgraven, Dawson, bachelor of science, communication arts and literature education.
Moede student senator at CSS
Hayley Moede, the daughter of Chris and Mindy Moede of Marshall, has been elected a student senator for the 2011-2012 term.
Moede is a junior majoring in fine arts. As a member of the College of St. Scholastica's Student Senate, Moede is a finance senator.
The Student Senate is responsible for allocating student funds, planning events on campus, and being representatives for the student body.
