To the editor:
I would like to take a bit of your space to say thanks to all the people who have stopped by or who have written to me to give words of encouragement. Thanks to the Marshall Fire Department for their quick response and caring attitude. They are truly a great group of people who are there for us when we need them. Always impressed by them and even moreso now. Thanks again, and when you bump into a fireman, shake his hand and say sure appreciate you being here for us. You do a great job.
