MARSHALL - Shelby DeBates and Brandon Coens were married July 14, 2011, on Lake Shetek. The reception for the family took place at Key Largo. Parents of the couple are Lori and Steve DeBates and Anita and Terry Coens, all of Marshall. The bride attends Southwest Minnesota State University and is employed at Hy-Vee. The groom is part of the Minnesota National Guard Red Bulls and is currently deployed overseas. He is also employed at Hy-Vee.
