Area graduates to take part in national St. Olaf performance
Two area graduates will participate this year in the 100th presentation of the St. Olaf College Christmas Festival - one of the nation's longest-running and most iconic celebrations of Christmas. Both will appear in four performances Dec. 1-4.
Lakeview High School graduate Kaitlin Hellie and Westbrook-Walnut Grove High School graduate Ellie Vondracek will participate in the Cantorei ensemble.
More than 12,000 people attend the annual performances at St. Olaf College. But this year's event, titled "Rejoice, Give Thanks, and Sing," will reach thousands more viewers when it is broadcast live via simulcast to nearly 400 movie theaters across the nation. Visit stolaf.edu/simulcast or check local listings to find a theater near you. Tickets are available at participating theater box offices and online at FathomEvents.com.
