To the editor:
Last Friday evening I had the pleasure of conducting the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers in concert at the Schwan Community Center for the Performing Arts. You are fortunate in Marshall to have such a beautiful facility with marvelous acoustics and a splendid staff. We were so pleased to sing there as part of our North Star Tour funded in part by the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund which allowed us to spend time with students at Marshall High School and Southwest Minnesota State University, residents of Hill Street Place, and community singers in the Prairie Arts Chorale.
I hope we can return again some time and sing in such a magnificent auditorium.
