Catholic Daughters of the Americas to celebrate CDA Sunday

Each year the National Catholic Daughters of the Americas establishes a day as CDA Sunday. This year the 232 members of Court St. Joan of Arc 1291 of Marshall Holy Redeemer will celebrate at 8 a.m. Mass Sunday. The Catholic Daughters Choir will provide music during the Mass and members will sit together wearing the Court's shoulder banners. Members and their families are encouraged to enjoy rolls and coffee following the Mass in Carlin Hall.

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas is one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive "to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness."

In addition to the CDA celebration, members will sell Gummi Bears with the proceeds to go to Habitat for Humanity.
