Johnson Memorial Health Services named among Top 100 hospitals for patient experience

Johnson Memorial Health Services in Dawson has been named one of the celebrated Top 100 Hospitals for Patient Experience by WomenCertified.

Hospitals are selected for this annual list based on a proprietary scoring process that incorporates data from the national, standardized HCAHPS (Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems) survey results along with a higher level of analysis that weighs criteria identified as the most important to women for patient satisfaction. The survey process is based on significant in-depth research on customer satisfaction among women, including a joint study on customer satisfaction by gender with The Wharton School.

Based on this scoring process, Johnson Memorial Health Services ranked 24th on the Top 100 List for Hospitals with 100 beds or fewer.

In order to make the Top 100 list, reflecting the voice of female patients, hospitals must meet all the qualifications for the WomenCertified Women's Choice Award.

Johnson Memorial Health Services (JMHS) scored above average in all of these categories. Johnson Memorial Health Services is also the 2011 recipient of the Aging Services of Minnesota Excellence in the Workplace Award.
