Fall festival Sept. 11 in Canby

The Church of St. Peter, Canby fall festival is from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11 in Canby. Mass is at 10:30 a.m. The roast beef dinner will be served from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Takeout dinners available in town from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. by calling 223-7729. Handicapped seating available. Tickets are sold at the door: Adult, $9; children 6-12, $6; 5 and younger, $3. Family maximum cost is $40. The pie luncheon is from 1:30-3 p.m. Burger stand is from noon-3 p.m. The raffle is at 3 p.m. On the grounds will be inflatable games, kids and adult games including bingo, country store, crafts, beer, food and refreshment stands.

CDA meeting Sept. 12 in Carlin Hall

Catholic Daughters of America will meet in Carlin Hall following 5:30 p.m. mass on Monday, Sept. 12. There will be lunch and a reception of new members.

Dinner, auction Sept. 11 in Lucan

Our Lady of Victory Church will have an auction and dinner Sunday, Sept. 11, at the church in Lucan. Sunday Mass is at 10 a.m. Dinner is from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The auction starts at 12:30 p.m. The buffet-style dinner includes dumplings, sausage, roast pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. The cost for adults is $8, ages 6-11 - $4 and 5 and younger are free.
