Taylor Family Scholarships awarded
Two Avera Marshall Auxiliary Scholarships and one Taylor Family Scholarship, each for $1,000, have been awarded to Marshall High School graduating seniors.
Criteria for the scholarships include academic excellence, participation in school activities and being active in community service. Awardees must plan a career in one of the health professions.
The three awardees are Amy Full, Nick Dorman and Christopher Henderson.
Full is the daughter of Michelle and John Full of Marshall. She plans to major in pre-dental and biology at South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
Dorman is the son of Rich and Joann Dorman of Marshall. He plans a major in chemistry and biology at Southwest Minnesota State University leading to a medical degree.
Henderson is the son of Maria Henderson. He plans to study at SMSU and pursue a degree in physical therapy. He is the recipient of the Taylor Family Scholarship.
