GRANITE FALLS - Law enforcement officials are continuing the search for a missing 27-year-old Granite Falls man.
Eric Santiago Martinez Solorzano was last heard from while walking along U.S. Highway 212 between Montevideo and Granite Falls at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. According to Yellow Medicine County Sheriff Bill Flaten, law enforcement used cell phone data and information from Solorzano's friends who had last seen him to narrow their search to a three-mile area between Granite Falls and Montevideo.
The Sheriff's Office, Granite Falls Fire Department, a helicopter from the Minnesota State Patrol and a bloodhound from the Codington County, S.D., Sheriff's Office assisted in the search on Saturday, Flatten said.

"We've searched that area pretty well at that point," Flatten said of the initial search location. "We have a few more people out there today (Monday)."
Flaten said in some areas the search is impeded by high waters, and search personnel may need to wait for the Minnesota River to recede.
"The river is at a high point now, so it is tough to search the low lying areas 'til that recedes," he said.
Foul play is not suspected in the disappearance at this time, Flaten said.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Solorzano are encouraged to call the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office at 320-564-2130.
