Revel member of concert choir
Kayla Revel is a member of concert choir for the 2010-2011 academic year at Southwest Minnesota State University. The concert choir provides the student body the chance to participate in choral singing as a cultural, education and artistic endeavor. Members are selected through auditions and perform three to six concerts each year on campus and another four to eight concerts during its annual concert tour in the USA and abroad. The choir is recognized as musical ambassadors for the state of Minnesota in the United States.
She is a senior elementary education major from Lynd.
Bach admitted to SMSU
Collene Bach, the daughter of Steve and Linda Bach of Marshall, has been accepted for the spring 2011 semester at Southwest Minnesota State University.
Her planned major field of study is computer science.
Henderson receives SMSU scholarship
Southwest Minnesota State University announces that Christopher Henderson, son of Maria Henderson of Lynd, has been selected to receive an Alfredo Gonzalez Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of these scholarships are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.
His planned major field of study is pre-physical therapy.
Bhakri receives scholarship
Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall announces that Kal Bhakri of Marshall has been selected to receive the Robert White Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Recipients of this scholarship are recognized for their academic accomplishments and outstanding leadership abilities.
Bhakri's planned major fields of study are sociology and political science.
