CDA spring luncheons start Thursday in Slayton

The spring luncheons sponsored by the Catholic Daughters will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursdays, at St. Ann's Hall, Slayton. The menu includes hot sandwiches, salads, homemade pie, milk and coffee. Carryouts are available. The phone number is 836-8030. This Thursday's meal will feature hot turkey sandwiches.

St. Mary's to have chicken dinner March 20 in Seaforth

Chicken dinner with full salad bar and dessert will be offered from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth. Mass is at 10 a.m. Matching grant by the Catholic Order of Foresters Court 1757.

Pancake dinner fundraiser Tuesday at St. James

The men of St. James are sponsoring an all-you-can-eat pancake dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Episcopal Church, 5th and Main Streets in Marshall. Free will donations will go to the parish's accessibility fund to help defray the cost of adding a wheelchair ramp to the church. Dinner will include pancakes, sausages, and bacon. All are welcome.

In addition, St. James Episcopal Church of Marshall will have an Ash Wednesday Eucharist Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday. All are welcome.
