Bluegrass services set for Sunday at First Lutheran
Two bluegrass services will take place Sunday at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. Bishop Jon Anderson of the Southwest Minnesota Synod of the ELCA will preach. His theme will be "You Belong to Christ." Services are at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.
Divorce seminar March 1 at EvFree
DivorceCare will be offered from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Marshall Evangelical Free church, 2667 240th Ave. (County Road 7) at Fellowship Hall. The 13-week seminar features DVDs from experts on divorce and recovery topics. Each 40-minute video is followed by a discussion time. The cost of the group is $12 for the workbook. St. Stephen Lutheran Preschool to have open house Thursday
The public is invited to St. Stephen Lutheran Preschool's open House from 5-7 p.m. Thursday to see the new preschool classroom. During this time, registration will be open to all 3-5 year old children in the community on a first come, first serve basis. There will also be preschool-aged activities and parents and students can meet their teachers. St. Stephen Lutheran Church is at 1301 S. 4th St. in Marshall.
