Lunch offered Thursday at St. Mary's

St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cottonwood is sponsoring a soup and sandwich luncheon from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at the church. The cost for adults is $6, for children 6-12, $3 and 5 and younger, $1. Take-outs will be available. Everyone is welcome.

Public Square Rosary Rally Saturday at Liberty Park

The Holy Redeemer Council of Catholic Women are hosting a Public Square Rosary Rally at 9 a.m. Saturday in Liberty Park by the gazebo. This Public Square Rosary, sponsored by America Needs Fatima, will be one of more than 5,000 rallies that will take place across the United States on that day. Remembrance service tonight at Marshall Evangelical Free

Oct. 15 is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. The Marshall Evangelical Free Church is hosting a Candlelight Remembrance Service in memory of any baby lost to miscarriage, an ectopic pregnancy, a still birth, or the loss of an infant.

This remembrance held annually is a time for grieving families to come together in a supportive and loving atmosphere to remember the babies who are held only in the parents' hearts. The service is free, open to the public, and will be at 7 p.m. today at the Marshall Evangelical Free Church. For more information, call 532-4804 or visit

Gummi Bears for Habitat available

Catholic Daughters of America will offer Gummi Bears in exchange for a donation to their national project - Habitat for Humanity. Gummi Bears will be available after Holy Redeemer masses Saturday and Sunday.

Revivalist Ben Naughton at Fire on the Prairie Oct. 22

Evangelist Ben Naughton will be the guest minister at Fire on the Prairie in Clarkfield Friday, Oct. 22. The service begins at 7:30 p.m. with praise and worship.

The meeting will be at the Clarkfield City Hall Meeting Room, 904 10th Ave (Highway 67), Clarkfield. No child care is provided. Free will offering will be received.
