Kirkpatrick's Josh Wieme went 3-for-4, and Jess VanLoy was 3-for-3 in a 20-1 win over Marshall Bowl during co-rec softball action Monday at the Marshall Softball Complex. Jessie Wichmann got her second win of the night in the circle for Kirkpatrick's in a 18-6 victory against Varsity Pub Scared Hitless.
Scared Hitless suffered a second defeat on Monday, falling 15-3 to the Varsity Pub Regulars.
The Gambler got two wins, defeating Lockwood 13-1, and picking up a 27-14 win in an offensively-charged contest with US Bank.
US Bank finished 1-1, with Josh Long picking up the W in a 15-4 decision against Sam's Place.
Hitching Post I, led by Willie Holmes' pitching, shut out Sam's Place 16-0. Holmes also had a homer in the contest.
Also winning in a shutout was VP/Extra Innings, who topped Varsity Pub 7-0.
Kari Loft was the winning pitcher for Wooden Nickel II in an 8-6 victory against Hitching Post II.
Varsity Pub/Phoenix continued the trend of shutout wins on Monday, defeating Western Printing 7-0.
