Ice cream social Sunday in Minneota

An ice cream social is planned from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 412 E. Lyon St. in Minneota. The menu includes barbecues, coney dogs, hot dogs, chips, pie with ice cream and beverages.

Pie, ice cream social Thursday in Tracy

The United Methodist Church Women in Tracy are having a pie and ice cream social from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the church on the corner of 2nd and Morgan Streets in Tracy.

Special service Aug. 1 at 1st Lutheran

The public is invited to "God Is," an alternative/emergent-style worship experience at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 1, at First Lutheran Church in Marshall. This service will allow people time and space to pray, ponder, praise, and respond to God at their own pace, while we come together as one body to explore our deep need for God and God's amazing love for creation. Bluegrass worship Sunday in the park

St. Stephen Lutheran Church invites the community to attend an outdoor Bluegrass Worship Service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Liberty Park Band Shell. The Rev. Larry Strenge will be the guest preacher. Come for a time of worship, music, and fellowship with a relaxing atmosphere. In the event of inclement weather, worship will be at St. Stephen Lutheran Church.
