Gardens on display

The 9th Annual Prairie Home Hospice Garden Tour gathered the green thumbs of the area Wednesday. Dozens of guests wandered through the gardens on display around Marshall, mingling with other garden admirers. The homeowners were pleased to share their handiwork with everyone.
Dave and Deb Hoganson, garden tour participants, decided to enter their garden this year, in particular, because it was recently set up for their oldest daughter's wedding. They felt it was a prime opportunity to display their landscaping designs while everything was still fresh.
Guests were not only from Marshall. Daren Gislason and Gary Richards visited from Minneota and stopped by Dave and Becky Gifford's garden. Gislason said he comes every year and enjoys it every time. Richards, on the other hand, toured for the first time and said he is "really enjoying it so far."
