E.C.H.O. girls beat MN Transitions Charter, 81-77
The E.C.H.O.Charter School picked up another win with a solid outing against Minnesota Transitions Charter School in Minneapolis Tuesday.
The Rockets held onto a 45-39 halftime lead to earn the 81-77 victory.
Jordan Berends hit five three-pointers and paced ECHO with 29 points, while Stephanie Guimond scored 14 points and Katy Faugstad had 13.
Samantha Dhoore contributed eight points for the Rockets, while Morgan Schmidt and Lexi Martin each chipped in six.
ECHO improve to 3-9 overall, while the Wolves drop to 13-7. Dontrayia Cole led Minnesota Transitions with 25 points, while 1,000-point scorer DJ Bland added 21.
The Rockets continue action on the road at 7 p.m. today against Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg in the opening round of Section 3A North competition.
