MARSHALL - Miguel Angel Cardenas, 32, of Lynd appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 26 on charges of forgery, aggravated forgery and perjury. Cardenas used false identification during a DWI arrest Oct. 10 and when pleading guilty to the DWI Nov. 18, the complaint alleges. Prior to the DWI arrest, Cardenas used false identification to gain employment, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9.

MARSHALL - Joseph Rossado, 42, of Minneota appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 26 on charges of second degree assault and third degree assault. Rossado assaulted a man on Oct. 3 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. A continuation of a jury trial was requested. Hearing dates in February were taken off the calendar, while a date of Mar. 31 remains on the calendar.

MARSHALL - Monica Lee Wambeke, 43, of Marshall did not appear in Lyon County District Court Jan. 26 on charges of second degree driving while impaired - test refusal and third degree driving while impaired. Wambeke drove under the influence of alcohol on Jan. 12 in Marshall with the aggravating factor of a prior DWI in 2003, the complaint alleges. Wambeke was unable to appear in court because she was undergoing treatment, court records said. A hearing was set for Feb. 23.

MARSHALL - Manuel Garcia Jr., 45, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 26 on charges of no no-fault insurance and driving without a license. Garcia drove without insurance while his license was revoked on Nov. 1 in Marshall, with two prior convictions for no insurance in 10 years, the complaint alleges. A contested hearing was set for Feb. 23.

MARSHALL - Gary Edward Sima, 48, of Cambridge did not appear in Lyon County District Court Jan. 26 on charges of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and speeding. Sima fled a traffic stop for speeding on Oct. 28, the complaint alleges. Sima could not travel to court because of road conditions, court records said. A hearing was set for Feb. 23.

MARSHALL - Kelly Joseph Johns, 44, of Marshall admitted probation violations including failure to undergo an updated chemical assessment in Lyon County District Court Jan. 26, court records said. Johns' probation was reinstated on previous conditions, plus conditions including undergo an updated chemical use assessment, abstain from alcohol and drugs and enroll in an outpatient treatment program within 30 days, court records said.

MARSHALL - Eric John Faris, 29, of Minneota appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on charges of second degree driving while impaired, driving after suspension and open bottle. Faris drove while under the influence of alcohol Sept. 27 in Minneota with the aggravating factor of two prior DWIs in 2004 and 2005, the complaint alleges. Faris also drove while his license was suspended on Sept. 29 in Minneota and had an open beer in the vehicle, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. Faris was released on conditions including abide by laws, abstain from alcohol and drugs and not entering bars or liquor stores.

MARSHALL - Catherine Rae Bunjer, 20, of Arco appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on charges of third degree driving while impaired, underage drink and drive and minor consumption. Bunjer drove with a blood alcohol level higher than .08 on Oct. 21 with a prior loss of driver's license in 2006, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. Bunjer was released on conditions including abide by laws, abstain from alcohol and drugs and not entering bars or liquor stores.

MARSHALL - Ray Stanley Ausen, 59, of Milroy appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on charges of third degree driving while impaired and driving after cancellation. Ausen drove while under the influence of alcohol and with a cancelled driver's license Sept. 11 with the aggravating factor of a prior conviction for criminal vehicle operation in 2002, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. Ausen was released on conditions including abide by laws, abstain from alcohol and drugs and not entering bars or liquor stores.

MARSHALL - Lori Jean Milton, 39, of Minneota appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on two counts of third degree driving while impaired. Milton drove with a blood alcohol level higher than .08 on Nov. 14 in Minneota, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. Milton was released on conditions including abide by laws, abstain from alcohol and drugs and not entering bars or liquor stores.

MARSHALL - John Peter McDonald, 39, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on charges of third degree assault, criminal vehicular injury, fifth degree assault and disorderly conduct. McDonald assaulted a Lyon County man and dragged him behind a car May 5, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. Bail was set at $10,000 without conditions or release with conditions, including abide by laws and no contact with the alleged victim.

MARSHALL - Dale Gene White, 32, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on charges of no no-fault insurance, violation by owner. White drove a vehicle without insurance on Nov. 27, with four prior convictions in 10 years, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. White was released on conditions including appear in court and abide by laws.

MARSHALL - Jason Michael Lettou, 32, of Cottonwood appeared in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on two counts of third degree driving while impaired. Lettou drove with a blood alcohol level higher than .08 on Dec. 12 in Cottonwood, with the aggravating factor of a prior DWI in 2001, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9. Lettou was released on conditions including abide by laws, abstain from alcohol and drugs and not entering bars or liquor stores.

MARSHALL - Richard Howard Schultz, 22, of Marshall appeared in custody in Lyon County District Court Jan. 27 on charges of third degree driving under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid license. Schultz drove with a blood alcohol level higher than .08 and no valid driver's license on Dec 4 in Marshall, with the aggravating factor of a prior DWI in September, the complaint alleges. A hearing was set for Feb. 9.
