CANBY - Services for Orlo F. Kruse, 75, of Canby will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Peace Lutheran Church in Ruthton. Burial in the Ruthton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the Tyler Area Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. prayer service. The Tyler Area Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Tyler of congestive heart failure.

He was born March 30, 1934, in Boyden, Iowa, to William and Sophia (Woelber) Kruse. He was drafted into the U.S. Army and stationed in Japan.

Survivors include his special friend, Lorraine Jerzak of Canby; his siblings, Marlene Hartson of Tyler, Anita Vespa of Petaluma, Calif., Lucille George of Huntington Beach, Calif. and Linda Petersen of Huntington Beach, Calif.
