HENDRICKS - Services for Harvey Wilfred Wahl, 86, of Hendricks, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Singsaas Lutheran Church, rural Hendricks. Burial will be in the Singsaas Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. in the Hendricks Hospital Chapel, Hendricks and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church. The Birk Funeral Home in Hendricks is in charge of the arrangements.

He died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at his home near Hendricks.

He was born Nov. 22, 1923, on the Wahl farm in Lake Hendricks Township, Brookings County, S.D., to Joseph and Ida (Hexem) Wahl.

Survivors include his wife Faye; sister Darlene Ball of Denver, Colo.; step daughter Camille Crooks of Volga, S.D.; and one stepgranddaughter.
