MARSHALL - Services for Vivian Juranek, 95, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Marshall.
She died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, in Rochester.
Vivian was born Oct. 29, 1914, to Henry and Emma Digre in Toronto, S.D. She resided with her family in Hendricks, then married Harold Juranek on Sept. 27, 1934. They worked together on their farm south of Canby until the death of Harold on Dec. 27, 1971. Vivian moved to Marshall in 1973 and lived there until 2001 when she moved to Rochester to live with her daughter, Lois. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Vivian enjoyed doing volunteer Bible education work in the Marshall area.
Survivors include one sister, Joyce Sherwood of Auburn, Calif.; two daughters: Lois Babcock of Rochester and Kristi Hedstrom of Lakeville; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.
