WOOD LAKE - Services for Alvin "Bud" Raddatz, 79, of Wood Lake, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Wood Lake. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.
He died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at the Granite Falls Hospital.
He was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Redwood Falls, to Hugo and Cora (Otto) Raddatz. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1954.
Survivors include his wife Darlys; sons: Jeff of Bailey, Mich.; Gary and Brad, all of Wood Lake; daughter Becky Omtvedt of Alexandria; eight grandchildren; brother, Silas of Wood Lake; and sister, Shirley Mancini of Hibbing.
