VESTA - Services for Gilfie H. Lyons, 91, of Vesta, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth. Visitation will be from 5- 8 p.m. today in the Sunset Funeral Home in Echo and continue Friday one hour prior to services in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seaforth.
She died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, in her daughter's home in Bethel.
She was born March 23, 1918, in Echo Township, Yellow Medicine County, to Gustav and Emma Louise (Kolander) Penske.
Survivors include her children; Sandra Boivin of Bethel, JoAnn Khoury of Scandia and Richard of Vesta; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings; Allen Penske, Dottie Hansvick, Vonnie Wells and Marvin Penske, all of Vesta.
