NORTHFIELD - Services for Mavis Adelaide Karbo, 92, of Northfield, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Northfield with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at the Lakeside Cemetery in Balaton at a later date. Arrangements by the Bierman Funeral Home of Northfield.

She died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at her home.

She was born Dec. 13, 1916, to Charles and Martha (Goltz) Munson on the family farm in Lyon County.

Survivors include her children: Loretta Shenk of Niwot, Colo., Marlan of Minneapolis, Carolyn Lindroos of Northfield, Marilyn Weiser of Northfield and Ardella Lagerquist of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter.
