No damage from fire near Garvin Park

Fire departments from four area towns responded to a brush fire on the southeast edge of Garvin Park in Lyon County at 6:16 p.m. on Wednesday.
Fire departments from Balaton, Garvin, Tracy and Marshall spent a little more than an hour fighting the blaze, the Lyon County Sheriff's Department said.
The fire started when a spark from a controlled fire apparently blew into a brush pile nearby, the sheriff's department said.
The fire spread to the grass around the residence on 150th Street, but no structures were affected, the sheriff's department said.
