Caleb Hansen connected with Brandon Madsen in the fourth quarter for a 49-yard touchdown and then caught the two-point conversion pass to give the MACCRAY Wolverines a 34-33 win over Dawson-Boyd Tuesday night in Dawson.

The Blackjacks jumped out to an early 20-0 lead to open the game, but 14 straight points by MACCRAY to end the half put the Wolverines back in business.

MACCRAY tacked on another touchdown to start the third quarter but Dawson-Boyd's Matt Anderson broke a 12-yard touchdown to put the Blackjacks back on top, 26-20.

Hansen connected with Brandon Condon on a 10-yard touchdown pass to tie the game at 26-all heading into the final quarter.

Anderson found the end zone on a 28-yard run but Hansen's touchdown and two-point conversion passes to Madsen proved to be the difference.

Anderson finished the night with 135 yards on the ground and two touchdowns.

Blackjack quarterback Ryan Swenson passed for 121 yards after completing 8-of-13 passes. He also rushed for two touchdowns to open the game.

Jake Bothun also returned an interception 20 yards for a score in the second quarter for the Dawson-Boyd.

The Blackjacks finished the regular season 6-2 and 6-2 in the Little Sioux Conference. They will continue play Tuesday in the opening round of the Section 5A playoffs.
