Patriots down Rebels in regular season finaleThe Lincoln HI volleyball team had an opportunity to carry some momentum into the Section 3A Tournament with Monday's match against Hills-Beaver Creek but the Patriots sought revenge and swept the Rebels 25-15, 25-17, 25-11.
Lincoln HI defeated HBC at the Subway Classic earlier this season but the Patriots repaid the favor.
Chelsea Conrad and Ashley Moen each had four kills for Lincoln HI, while Amanda Steffes had 10 set assists.
Lincoln HI finished the regular season 3-24 overall and 1-8 in the Camden Conference.
The Rebels will open section play Monday on the road against Renville County West at 7 p.m. in Renville.

The Wabasso Rabbits struggled in the opening two sets and couldn't recver as Buffalo Lake-Hector went on to win 25-14, 25-18, 24-26, 25-23 Monday in Wabasso.
Paige Pistulka led the Rabbit offense with nine kills, followed by Alexis Johnson and Jordane Martin, who each recorded five kills.
Martin also went 13-for-13 from the service line with three aces and led the team with 13 digs.
Morgan Samyn had 12 digs and finished with 18 set assists. She also had four aces after going 22-for-24 from the service line.
Wabasso will continue play Thursday on the road against Minneota.
