SLAYTON - Services for Blanche Bernice Haken, 88, of Slayton are at 5 p.m. today at Slayton Presbyterian Church in Slayton. Burial is at Amiable Cemetery Forest Hill, La. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton in charge of arrangements.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, Golden Living Center-Slayton.
She was born Dec. 18, 1920, in Glenmora, La., to John and Bester Neil Richmond.
Survivors include her children Branch of Slayton, Bruce of Slayton and Barb Bergman of Fulda; nine grandsons; sisters, Audrey Woods of California, Myrtle Richmond of Louisiana, Mamie Young of North Carolina, Barbara Martin of Louisiana; and brother, Daniel Richmond of Texas.
