MARSHALL - Edgar Andres Zuniga, 27, of Hanley Falls appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 7 on charges of forgery. From May 2006 to Aug. 6, 2009, Zuniga signed employee documents under a false name, the complaint alleges. Bail with no conditions was set at $20,000 and bail of $5,000 with conditions of reappear in court, obey laws and others was also set. A Rule 8 hearing was set for Aug. 18.

MARSHALL - Eddie Lee Zvorak, 30, of Tracy appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 10 on charges of domestic assault and interference with an emergency call with aggravating conditions of prior convictions for terroristic threats and assault in the fourth degree. Zvorak prevented a victim from making an emergency call, pulled the victim's hair and dragged the victim from a building on July 25 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. Zvorak's lawyer Cecil Naatz and Lyon County Assistant Attorney Tricia Zimmer filed papers. An omnibus hearing was set for Sept. 8.

MARSHALL - Ignacio Zuniga, 43, of Hanley Falls did not appear in Lyon County District Court Aug. 7 on two counts of third degree driving while impaired and a charge of over the center line. Zuniga drove with a blood alcohol concentration of .20 and over the center line on Jan. 25 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. A warrant was to be issued for Zuniga.

MARSHALL - Casey Eugene Olson, 23, of Ruthton appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 7 on two counts of third degree driving while impaired with the aggravating factor of a prior DWI in 2008 and charges of driving after revocation and over the center line. Olson drove with a revoked license, over the center line and with a blood alcohol concentration of .12 on April 29 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. Lyon County Attorney Rick Maes had filed papers. Olson's lawyer Pam Neumann filed. An omnibus hearing was set for Oct. 21.

MARSHALL - Bernard Bart Heck, 52, of Cottonwood appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 7 on a charge of issuance of a worthless check. Heck wrote a check for $320 that was returned for insufficient funds on March 26 in Cottonwood, the complaint alleges. Bail with no conditions was set at $3,000. Heck can also be released on no bail on conditions including be of good behavior and obey all laws.

MARSHALL - Richard Howard Schultz, 22, of Cottonwood appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 4 on charges of controlled substance crime in the first degree and controlled substance crime in the fifth degree-liability for crimes of another. Schultz sold 15.5 grams of cocaine for $780 on April 23 in Marshall and he and an accomplice sold one ounce of marijuana for $200 on April 16 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. The court found probable cause for the charges. A plea hearing was set for Sept. 1.

MARSHALL - Allan Lee Skare, 33, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 4 on charges of domestic assault by strangulation and domestic assault. Skare pulled the victim's hair and choked the victim on June 21 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. Skare appeared on two files. Skare's lawyer Joel Solie and Lyon County Attorney Rick Maes were to file papers on one file. The court found probable cause for charges in the second file. A hearing was set for Sept. 12.

MARSHALL - Seth Andrew Miciah Johnson, 25, of Marshall pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 to a charge of controlled substance crime in the fifth degree. Johnson sold about one ounce of a controlled substance for $350 on March 16 in Marshall, court records said. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation. A sentencing hearing was set for Sept. 22.

MARSHALL - Shannon Crycle Dela Pena, 18, of Ivanhoe pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 to a charge of controlled substance crime in the third degree. Pena conspired with a person under 18 to sell a half ounce of marijuana for $200 on Sept. 23 in Marshall, court records said. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation. A sentencing hearing was set for Sept. 22.

MARSHALL - Maria I. Bales, 25, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 in multiple files. Bales pleaded guilty to a charge of controlled substance crime in the fifth degree. Bales possessed methamphetamine on July 13, court records said. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation. Bales also appeared in a probation violation hearing which was continued to Sept. 28.

MARSHALL - Timothy John Cox, 46, of Marshall pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 to two counts of third degree driving while impaired with the aggravating factor of a prior DWI in 2000. Cox drove with an alcohol concentration of .19 on March 28 in Marshall, court records said. The court ordered a pre-sentence investigation. A sentencing hearing was set.

MARSHALL - Darion Rapier Nance, 21, of Marshall appeared in custody in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 in an extradition hearing. Nance's lawyer Cecil Naatz requested a continuance. The court granted a continuance to Sept. 8 but said it would be the final continuance granted in the case.

MARSHALL - Nicole Ann Hively, 24, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 on charges of controlled substance crime in the first degree-liability for crimes of another and controlled substance crime in the second degree-liability for crimes of another. Hively and an accomplice sold about 13.7 grams of methamphetamine for $1,500 on July 10, 2008, in Marshall and Hively and an accomplice sold about 6.6 grams of methamphetamine for $750 on July 30, 2008, in Marshall, the complaint alleges. Hively's lawyer Pam Neumann requested a plea hearing be set. The hearing was set for Sept. 8.

MARSHALL - Bradley James Hutto, 25, of Missouri Bluff, La., did not appear in Lyon County District Court Aug. 11 on a charge of assault in the fourth degree-liability for crimes of another. Hutto assaulted a victim because of the victim's race on June 15 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. Lyon County Assistant Attorney Tricia Zimmer said Hutto was in custody in Redwood County. The hearing was re-set for Sept. 22.
