MARSHALL - Jeremy Elijah Johnson, 32, of Hanley Falls appeared in Lyon County District Court July 17 and admitted violating his probation. Johnson violated his probation by failing to abstain, court records said. Johnson was reinstated on probation and must update a chemical use assessment, attend a MADD panel and complete his Community Work Service within 30 days.
MARSHALL - Elijah Michael Odom, 28, of Balaton appeared in Lyon County County District Court July 17 and admitted violating his probation. Odom violated his probation by failing to obey all laws. Odom was reinstated on probation and must serve 30 days in jail.
MARSHALL - Daniel Joseph Kittredge, 24, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court July 21 on a charge of controlled substance crime in the fifth degree-liability for crimes of another. Kittredge and an accomplice sold about a half ounce of marijuana for $200 on Nov. 12 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. The court found probable cause for the charges. A plea hearing was set for Aug. 25.
MARSHALL - Dennis John Larson, 59, of Tyler did not appear in Lyon County District Court July 21 in a probation violation hearing. Larson violated his probation by failing to complete 15 days in jail, failing to pay what he owes and failing to meet with his agent, probation alleges. The court requested a warrant for Larson's arrest.
MARSHALL - Joseph Vernon Schrupp, 35, of Wood Lake appeared in Lyon County District Court July 21 on charges of third degree driving while impaired-refusal to test and fourth degree DWI. Schrupp drove under the influence of alcohol and refused an alcohol test on July 9 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. Marshall Assistant City Attorney Lori Buchheim had filed papers and Schrupp's lawyer Stephen Ferrazzano filed papers. Schrupp waived his court time line,. A hearing was set for Aug. 25.
