Slayton's Troy Winter gained some ground on points leader Brent Fagen Friday at Murray County Speedway after Winter finished first and Fagen finished second in the USRA Stock Car Feature.

Rich Gregoire of Russell finished third and Jon Schmidt of Cottonwood finished fourth.

Ruthton's Bryan Sanderson led the way in the Sportsmen Feature, while Jeremy Winter (Slayton) finished second in the Hornets Feature.

Eric Gillette of Slayton finished second in the USRA Hobby Feature and Josh Bonnstetter, also of Slayton, finished runner-up in the USRA B Modified Feature.

Racing will continue Friday at MCS.
