Mahlon Zimmermann was lights on from the mound for the Milroy as he helps lift the Yankees to a 4-0 win over Raymond and an automatic bid into the regional tournament.

Zimmermann went the complete game, striking out seven and allowing no runs on four hits and two walks.

The Yankees jumped out to an early 3-0 lead after the first inning, highlighted by a two-run triple by David Schmidt.

Justin Schlemmer and Micah Gronli both went 2-for-3 from the plate for Milroy, while Schmidt finished 2-4.

Milroy (29-3) will continue play next weekend with a seeding game against the winner of the Raymond/Sacred heart game on Wednesday in Raymond.

Tom DeBoer started on the mound for Raymond and after a shaky first inning, recovered with three scoreless innings before allowing the final run of the game in the fifth.

Raymond's offense was led by Jason Meyer, who went 2-for-3 including a double,
