BROOK PARK - Services for Maxine M. Heard, 85, of Brook Park, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bethany Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Ivanhoe City Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Birk Funeral Home.
She died Monday, July 20, 2009.
She was born Jan.19, 1924, in Woodstock to Waldemar Reiff and Mable (Purchas) Reiff-Neilsen.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Saunders and Beverly Croteau; four sons, Richard, Ronald, Jon, Michael; three daughters, Sherry Novotny, Lynn Carpenter, and Lu Ann Blegen; 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
