Buttermakers defeat Pipestone 6-5 in 10Hadley picked up a Gopher League win on Friday night in Hadley over Pipestone. It took the Buttermakers 10 innings, but they got it done in the home half of the 10th by plating one run for the 6-5 win.
Zach Bruns got the ball to start, he earned a no-decision going eight innings allowing five runs, four earned, on 10 hits with one walk and six strike outs. Chris Haken entered in relief in the ninth to pick up the win for the Buttermakers, he tossed two scoreless innings with one walk and three strike outs.
Ryan Beers led the way at the plate going 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two RBI. Bruns was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two stolen bases. James Wajer was 2-for-4 with one run scored and two RBI and Luke Beers was 2-for-5.
Hadley improves to 16-8 overall and 15-5 Gopher League. The Buttermakers will be back in action today in Hadley with a 1 p.m. game against Jackson and on Sunday as they host Windom at 2 p.m.

Milroy 9, Raymond 5
Matt Bauer led the way for the Milroy Yankees on Friday night as they hit the road to take on Raymond. Bauer hit a three-run home run, picked up four RBI, went 3-for-5 at the dish and picked up the three-inning save.
Anthony Rohlik picked up the win on the mound going six innings allowing five runs, two earned on eight hits with three strike outs.
Andy Schmidt was 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI. Eric Dolan was 3-for-5, Andy Williamson was 2-for-5 and Sean Castle was 2-for-3 with a double. Bauer was 3-for-5 with four RBI and a three-run shot.
Milroy improves to 16-0 in the Cornbelt and 26-3 on the season. The Yankees will be back in action today when they take on Briton, S.D. in Granite Falls at 4 p.m.
