Ejections end game in 7th as Mudhens defeat Adrian 6-3

POSTED: June 29, 2009

The Minneota Mudhens scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning before three Adrian players were ejected and the game was called short as the Mudhens won 6-3 in six innings.

Adrian had just 10 active players in their lineup for Sunday's contest, so after three players were ejected, the A's didn't have enough players to complete the contest.

Tony Shaikoski started on the mound for the Mudhens and went the distance striking out one and allowing three runs on nine hits and one walk.

Pat O'Brien had a double, while Tyson Sonnenburg and Chris Ulrich each went 2-for-3.

Minneota is now 4-9 and will continue play either Tuesday with Pipestone or Wednesday on the road with Wilmont. The Mudhens have been trying to work with Pipestone to get a game in on Tuesday.
