The Brown, Lyon and Redwood County Drug and Gang Taskforce arrested 10 people Thursday for illegal drug activity, a news release said.
The release said: A Lynd man, 20, two 24-year-old Marshall men, a Marshall man, 25, were arrested for fifth degree controlled substance crime; a Marshall woman, 24, was arrested for first and second degree controlled substance crime; a Marshall woman, 18, was arrested for third and fifth degree controlled substance crime; a Marshall woman, 41, was arrested for second degree controlled substance crime; a Cottonwood man, 22, was arrested for first and fifth degree controlled substance crime; a Marshall man, 20, was arrested for fifth degree controlled substance crime-liabilities for crimes of another and a Marshall woman, 29, was arrested for simulated controlled substance crime.
The arrests were the result of a 16-month investigation by the task force, the news release said. The investigation continues and more arrests are expected, the release said.
