Deutz throws six shutout innings to lead Yankees to 7-4 win over New London

The Milroy Yankees used the pitching of Nathan Deutz to keep New London Spicer off the board until the late innings. Deutz threw six shut-out innings to give his offense a jump start. The Yankees won 7-4.

Deutz went eight innings for Milroy allowing four runs, all earned, on seven hits with eight strike outs. Ryan Rohlik picked up the save.

David Schmidt led the way at the plate going 4-for-4 for Milroy. Matt Bauer was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI.

The Yankees improve to 7-0 in the Cornbelt and 10-2 overall and will be back in action tonight at home against Jackson.
