Zimmermann throws no-hitter as Yankees defeat Regal 7-0

Mahlon Zimmermann made it easy for the offense as he threw a no-hitter to help lead the Milroy Yankees to a 7-0 win Friday night against Regal in Milroy.
Zimmermann struck out 13 on the day and allowed just one walk. Two other Regall batters reached on errors.
At the plate, Matt Bauer went 2-for-5 with a double for three RBI. David Schmidt went 3-for-4 with a RBI, Eric Dolan went 3-for-5 with a RBI and Dean Zwach drove in a run after going 2-for-4.
With the win, the Yankees improve to 8-1 overall on the season and 4-0 in the Cornbelt.
Milroy will continue play tonight in Adrian.
