Deutz leads Yankees from mound in 4-2 win over LambertonMilroy's Austin Deutz pitched the complete game and allowed just two runs on eight hits to help lead the Yankees defeat Lamberton 4-2 Thursday in Lamberton.
David Schmidt and Brian Dolan both had doubles, while Andy Schmidt went 4-for-5 for Milroy.
Jacob Jenniges had a double and Donald Strand went 3-for-5 for the Long Sox.
Jake Wall started on the mound for Lamberton and suffered the loss after going eight innings, striking out eight and allowing three runs on seven hits.
Milroy will continue play today on the road against Springfield, while the Yankees will play host to Regal.

Adrian 14, Tracy 11
The Tracy Express pounded a season-high 12 hits, but were defeated 14-11 against the Adrian Athletics in amateur baseball action in Adrian Wednesday.
The Express was down 11-0 by the third inning, but battled back to within four runs after the top of the fifth.
Eric Hendrickx took the loss on the mound for Tracy. Brett Jackson came in during the second inning and Troy Kepler finished out the game for the Express.
At the plate for Tracy, Kyle Mathiowetz was 3-for-4 with two RBI, while Taylor Hagberg was 2-for-5 with a double. Aaron Ziemer and Andrew Suby went 2-for-4 with one RBI apiece.
The Express (4-4-1) continue action next when they face the Marshall A's at 2 p.m. Saturday.
