MARSHALL - Brandon James Vickerman, 18, homeless, appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on charges of controlled substance crime in the fifth degree, underage drinking and driving, minor consumption and possession of drug paraphernalia. Vickerman drove after consuming alcohol, possessed a drug pipe and scale and about 165 grams of marijuana on May 15 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. An omnibus hearing was set for June 2.

MARSHALL - Eric Michael Guttum, 33, of Garvin appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday in a probation violation hearing in four files. Guttum failed to report to probation and failed to report a current address in all four files, probation alleges. Guttum also failed to pay what he owes in three files, probation alleges. A court hearing was set. Guttum's lawyer Stephen Ferrazzano said Guttum will request an execution of sentence.

MARSHALL - Nicole Marie Bresson, 26, of Minneota appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on charges of assault in the fourth degree, obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct. Bresson pushed a law officer, refused to cooperate with police officer and deputy and used insulting words toward another victim and officers on Jan. 11 in Minneota, the complaint alleges.

MARSHALL - Adam Dennis Oeltjenbruns, 33, of Tracy appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on a charge of driving after cancelation-inimical to public safety. Oeltjenbruns drove with a canceled driver's license on Jan. 28 in Tracy, the complaint alleges. A continuance requested by Oeltjenbruns' lawyer Stephen Ferrazzano was granted. A hearing was set for June 2.

MARSHALL - Yer Moua, 41, of Tracy appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on a charge of theft by wrongfully obtaining assistance. Moua failed to report household income from August to October 2007 and received welfare overpayment of about $1,000, the complaint alleges. A court hearing was set.
