MARSHALL - Benjamin Mark Rohlik, 23, of Lucan appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on a charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, open bottle, reckless driving and two counts of third degree driving while impaired. Rohlik drove with an alcohol concentration of .19, fled from law enforcement in his vehicle, drove dangerously and had an open bottle of beer in his vehicle on April 19 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. An omnibus hearing was set for June 30.
MARSHALL - A sentencing hearing was held in Lyon County District Court Tuesday for David Jose Swanson, 29, of Marshall who did not appear. Court minutes said Swanson was in the hospital. A hearing was set for June 30.
MARSHALL - Steven Todd Warren, 45, of Tekumah, Neb. pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court Tuesday to two counts of second degree driving while impaired and charges of careless driving and failure to the right in roadway. Warren did not stay in the right hand side of the road, refused an alcohol test and drove while impaired with alcohol on Dec. 19 in Tracy, the complaint alleges.
MARSHALL - Jesse James Andres, 28, of Ruthton appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on two counts of third degree driving while impaired. Andres drove with a blood alcohol concentration of .17 on March 14 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. A Rule 8 hearing was set for June 2.
MARSHALL - Michael Alan Swanson, 48, of Balaton pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on a charge of sex offender violation-failure to return address verification form. Swanson did not return an address verification form within the set amount of time in May 2008 and November 2008, the complaint alleges. An omnibus hearing was set for June 11.
MARSHALL - Kenyetta Jacquetta Davis, 24, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on a charge of issuance of dishonored check. Davis issued about $1,200 in checks on an account with insufficient funds in January and February in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. An omnibus hearing was set for June 2.
MARSHALL - Curt Allen Hoffman, 48, of Vesta appeared in Lyon County District Tuesday on a charge of theft. Hoffman stole at least $38,000 from his employer by ordering television and selling them himself in January and March in Marshall, the complaint alleges. An omnibus hearing was set for June 30. Hoffman was released on no bail on the conditions he does not leave the state without permission, report an address change and others.
MARSHALL - Kimberly Sunbrean Harden, 40, address unknown, appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on charges of aggravated forgery and perjury. Harden signed the name of another person on welfare assistance forms April 5 to May 1 and made false statements on welfare forms on April 17 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. The court denied a motion from Harden's lawyer to reduce bail.
MARSHALL - Danella Lyn Lietzau, 27, of Minneota appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on charges of controlled substance crime in the third degree-liability for crimes of another and charges of controlled substance crime in the fifth degree and child endangerment. Lietzau and an accomplice possesses about 8.25 kilograms of marijuana intended to be sold and possessed it in a home with children on May 21, 2008 in Minneota, the complaint alleges. A plea hearing was set for June 2.
MARSHALL - Bobbi Jo Kirong, 28, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Tuesday on charges of theft by wrongfully obtaining assistance and perjury. Kirong failed to report household incomes and made false statements on welfare forms from June to December 2008 in Lyon County and received an overpayment of about $1,200, the complaint alleges. An omnibus hearing was set for June 2.
