Rohlik fans 9 as Yankees down Willmar 9-4

The Milroy Yankees scored five runs in the fifth inning to defeat Willmar 9-4 Sunday in Milroy.
Davis Schmidt went 2-for-4 with three RBI while both Dean Zwack and Christopher Eichton went 3-for-5. Brian Dolan went 2-for-4 and Cory Schmidt went 2-for-5.
Anthony Rohlik started on the mound for the Yankees and went six innings before being relieved by Austen Deutz. Rohlik struck out nine and gave up just one run on five hits to earn the win.
Deutz came into the game inthe seventh and allowed two runs in the seventh and one run in the ninth, but the deficit was too large to overcome.
Darren Ditterich started for Willmar and pitched six-plus innings before reliever Troy Ditterich entered the game. Cody Scott finished the game in the eighth.
Matt Sagadahl went 3-for-5 for Willmar and Josh Dahlke went 3-for-4.
Milroy is now 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in the Cornbelt League. The Yankees will continue play Wednesday on the road against New London-Spicer at 7:30 in Spicer.
