Weinke drives in 2 as Rebels win 6-2

Eric Wieneke went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI to lead the Murray County Central Rebels to a 6-2 victory over Windom Area Monday.

Tayler Streff picked up the win for the Rebels (5-4), giving up four hits and two runs in four innings. Jase Bly was 2-for-3.

For Windom Area (5-5), Charlie Dunnick took the loss in a complete-game effort. He struck out 10. Lee Holt hit a RBI single for the Eagles.

MCC travels to Red Rock Centra/Westbrook-Walnut Grove today, while Windom Area travels to Redwood Valley today.

Trent Novotny pitched a complete game two-hitter while striking out eight to lead the Renville County West Jaguars to a 9-0 win over Minneota in Camden Conference baseball Monday.

Steve Gens and Brian Feldman each had two hits and a double for RCW (5-1, 5-1 Camden), while Adam Loe also had two hits.

Alex Christensen took the loss for the Vikings (1-8, 1-6 Camden), giving up five unearned runs in five innings while striking out six and walking three. Beau Buysse went 1-for-1 with a double.

RCW hosts MACCRAY today, while Minneota will host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on Friday.

Alex Jones went 3-for-6 with three RBI to help the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers hand the Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks a 17-7 thumping Monday.

Travis Apperson got the win for the Panthers (6-4, 5-2 Camden), giving up three earned runs in four innings while striking out seven and walking three. Josh Soupir hit two doubles.

Keith Knutson took the loss for the Blackjacks (2-6, 1-5 Camden), giving up eight earned runs on 10 hits in two innings. Donald Hermanson was 2-for-4 with two RBI.

TMB will host MACCRAY on Thursday, while Dawson-Boyd hosts Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg today.

The Kerhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints topped the Canby Lancers 11-7 in Camden Conference baseball Monday.

Taylor Freetly picked up the win for KMS (6-4, 3-3 Camden), giving up one run in just over four innings of work. Marc Beckman was 1-for-4 with a home run, and Ryan Schwagel was 2-for-4 with a double.

Trevor Citrowske took the loss for Canby (2-4, 2-3 Camden), giving up seven earned runs on five hits in four innings. Christopher Nemitz went 3-for-3 with three doubles, while Kyle Mamer was 2-for-4.

KMS travels to Dawson-Boyd today, while Canby hosts Dawson-Boyd on Thursday.
