The Marshall High School Speech Team won first place out of 19 teams at the Fairmont High School invitational tournament Saturday.
Marshall led the team scores by 50 points, over St. Peter, Fairmond and Mankato East, and had the most individual champions of any team at the tournament. A total of 15 students placed in individual events.
