Human bones found in Lakeville park

LAKEVILLE, Minn. (AP) — Lakeville police are investigating the discovery of human bones in a park.

Police were called to Ritter Farm Park just after 2 p.m. Thursday. Police believe the bones have been in the park for some time.

Police say there is no threat to park visitors or area residents.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension will help Lakeville police in the investigation.
