SLAYTON - Services for James Richard Christensen St. Ann's Church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Burial is at St. Ann's Cemetery, Slayton. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton.Visitation will also be one hour prior to the services at the church Saturday.

He was born Oct. 12, 1942, in Hendricks, to Albert and Katherine (Tambo) Christensen.

He died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at his home in Slayton surrounded by his family.

Survivors include his wife, Marilou Christensen of Slayton; children, Scott of Cheyenne, Wyo., Julie Jurrens of Slayton, and Marti Engelkes of Slayton; and eight grandchildren.
