9:00 AM - Meeting called to order by Chairman Goodenow.
Members present: Nelson, Fenske, Ritter, Goodenow, Stensrud, County Administrator Stomberg, and Auditor /Treasurer Van Overbeke.
Absent : Attorney Maes
Nelson moved, seconded by Ritter to approve agenda. All voted in favor.
Nelson moved, seconded by Fenske to hire Aaron VanMoer as a Project Engineer at a starting wage of $19.88 per hour and a starting date of September 15, 2008. Ritter - He reports to Steve Johnson correct? Kanwar - Yes. Mostly in the beginning he will be helping in the field. Ritter - Where is he now? Kanwar - Currently he is helping Chad with inspections. Fenske - Will he be helping on county 5? Kanwar - Yes. All voted in favor.

Nelson moved, seconded by Ritter to use 9.9% or $12,164,341 for the preliminary levy. All voted in favor. Stomberg - We can look at how the wetland credits play into this.
Meeting schedule was reviewed.
Ritter moved, seconded by Stensrud to adjourn. All voted in favor.
