MARSHALL - Alan Ronald Dobrenski, 36, of Ruthton appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 18 on charges of refusal to test, fourth degree driving while impaired, open bottle and inattentive driving. Dobrenski drove while impaired with alcohol, with an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, drove through a stop sign and refused an alcohol test on June 28 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. Bail was set at $6,000 with no conditions. Dobrenski can also be released on no bail on the conditions he reappear in court, does not enter bars or liquor stores and others. A Rule 8 hearing was set for Agu. 29. Joel Solie was appointed his lawyer.
MARSHALL - Jeremy Paul Williamson, 21, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 18 on charges of burglary in the second degree and criminal damage to property in the first degree. Williamson used a rock to smash a glass door to enter a prperty and stole property on Aug. 4 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. Williamson caused $1,000 damage to the door, the complaint alleges. Lyon County Assistant Attorney Tricia Zimmer filed papers and Williamson's lawyer Stephen Ferrazzano had already filed. A plea hearing was set for Sept. 19.
MARSHALL - David Jose Swanson, 38, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 18 on two counts of second degree driving while impaired. Swanson drove while impaired on Aug. 10 in Lyon County, the complaint alleges. The court said Swanson's lawyer must file papers within one week. An omnibus hearing was set.
MARSHALL - Yenny Angelica Pilar Mendoza, 22, of Marshall appeared in custody in Lyon County District Court Aug. 18 on charges of aggravated forgery and identity theft. Mendoza used the the social security number and identity of another person to obtain employment in Marshall on May 28, the complaint alleges. Lyon County Assistant Atttorney Tricia Zimmer filed papers. A plea hearing was set for Sept. 5.
MARSHALL - Amber Felicity Wigton, 27, of Lynd appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 19 on two counts of second degree driving while impaired with the aggravating factor of two priors in 2001 ad 2005 and a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana. Wigton drove with an alcohol concentration of .10 and possessed 1.1 grams of marijuana on July 7 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. The court found probable cause for the charges. A plea hearing was set for Sept. 30.
MARSHALL - Michael Robin Larsen, 40, of Marshall appeared in Lyon County District Court Aug. 19 on charge of controlled substance crime in the fifth degree. Larsen sold a prescription for a controlled substance for $100 in Lyon County on March 2, the complaint alleges. The court found probable cause for the charge. A plea hearing was set for Sept. 16.
MARSHALL - Jeremy Ray Gonnerman, 20, of Pipestone did not appear in Lyon County District Court Aug. 19 for hearing on charges of fourth degree driving while impaired and possession of marijuana. Gonnerman drove under the influence and possessed 94 grams of marijuana in his vehicle on May 29 in Marshall, the complaint alleges. A warrant was to be filed for Gonnerman's arrest.
