Viola Hanson
Age 98, of SlaytonSLAYTON - Services for Viola E. Hanson, 98, of Slayton will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sillerud Lutheran Church in rural Balaton. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Burial is at Sillerud Lutheran Cemetery, rural Balaton.
She died Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Golden Living Center-Slayton.
Viola Hanson was born April 18, 1910, on the family farm in Skandia Township, Murray County, to Charles and Anna Johnson Swan.
Survivors include her children Robert of Hudson, Wis., and Karen Sawatzky of Slayton; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
